Abstract
This study aims to shed light the evaluation of monetary and fiscal policy in achieving economicbalance in Algeria by examining indicators and their impact on the performance of the Algerian economy and some economic variables. The effectiveness of monetary and fiscal policy plays an important role in achieving economic balance and trying to adapt to imbalances, particularly concerning inflation and unemployment rates, improving the balance of payments, and achieving economic growth rates through structural and developmental reforms that Algeria has started implementing. Additionally, it aims to achieve balance amidst the stability and flexibility of the exchange rate. While Algeria has seen positive economic indicators, this has largely been in the context of high hydrocarbon revenues. This underscores the necessity of diversifying theeconomy and focusing on other sectors to continue achieving the desired performance of the Algerian economy. In conclusion, the study found that the impact of monetary and fiscal policy on Algeria's overall economic balance had a slightly positive effect but did not meet the desired expectations.
