Transaction Speed, Algeria | | Résumé : | A lthough Blockchain technology has the potential to revolutionize banking efficiency, its uptake in developing nations is still not well understood. This study uses a Python- simulated model called SALAM BLOCK to examine how Blockchain can improve trans- actions at Al Salam Bank Algeria.
We evaluated the speed, cost, security, and trans- parency of a Blockchain-based system versus traditional banking using actual transaction data from 19 operations and 20 clients. The results show 40–50 percent cost savings and 99.9 percent faster transaction processing (for example, international transfers performed in 0.08 seconds as opposed to 1–3 days typically). Most importantly, we were the first to use Blockchain technology to build Islamic Salam contracts, guaranteeing Sharia com- pliance through immutable audit trails and smart contracts. This study demonstrates Blockchain’s potential to transform banking efficiency while upholding regional financial principles, notwithstanding Algeria’s legislative and infrastructure obstacles. | | En ligne : | https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RpPzbiDwvB-O6TomT_9QFJasrBmSlm-4/view?usp=drive [...] |
