Abstract
This study aims to explore how the occupational health and safety program contributes to reducing workplace accidents at the Zouaoui Public Works and Construction Company.
Workplace accidents are among the critical issues that senior management must address by taking the necessary measures to reduce them as much as possible. The implementation of occupational health and safety programs, through their various stages—such as hazard identification, risk mitigation, and evaluation—helps reduce both material and human losses. The study was conducted using two research tools: a questionnaire and the company’s internal documents.
The findings revealed that the health and safety programs at Zouaoui Construction Company contribute to the reduction of workplace accidents, particularly during the risk mitigation phase.
