هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى توضيح دور البنية التحتية لتكنولوجيا المعلومات في تعزيز تنافسية مؤسسةUNITEDTECHNOLOGY ELECTRIC COMPANY. وتم استخدام الاستبيان كأداة أساسية لجمع البيانات وتم توزيعه على عينة مكونة من 60 موظف في المؤسسة محل الدراسة، ودعمت هذه البيانات من خلال المصادر الثانوية المتمثلة بالأساس في المقابلات والملاحظات الميدانية. وذلك بالاعتماد على منهجين: المنهج الوصفيالتحليلي للإجابة على مشكلة البحث ومنهج دراسة الحالة لاختبار صحة الفرضيات من عدمها.
وتوصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج أهمها: أن البنية التحتية لتكنولوجيا المعلومات تؤثر إيجابا على القدرة التنافسية للمؤسسة محل الدراسة، حيث تساهم كل من الثقافة السائدة حول البنية التحتية لتكنولوجيا المعلومات، الاتجاهات الحديثة لها وكذا التقنيات الأمنية لحمايتها في تعزيز تنافسية المؤسسة.
Abstract:
This study aimed to investigate the role of information technology (IT) infrastructure in enhancing the competitiveness of UNITED TECHNOLOGY ELECTRIC COMPANY. A survey was conducted to collect data from a sample of 60 employees of the company. The findings of the survey were triangulated with secondary sources, including interviews and field observations. Two research methodologies were employed: the descriptive-analytical method to address the research problem and the case study method to test the hypotheses.
The study revealed that IT infrastructure has a significant positive impact on the competitiveness of the study institution. The prevailing culture surrounding IT infrastructure, its contemporary trends, and its security technologies all contribute to enhancing the institution's competitive edge.
