وقد تبين من خلال هذه الدراسة أن الحرب الروسية الأوكرانية أدت إلى زيادة ارتفاع أسعار المواد الغذائيةـ، وحدوث تذبذبات كبيرة وانقطاعات الامدادات الغذائية، مما انعكس فيما بعد على الأمن الغذائي لعديد الدول. كما تبين أن الدول النامية كانت أكثر المتضررين من هذه الحرب مقارنة بالدول الأخرى وذلك لضعف سياساتها الزراعية من جهة وضعف ايراداتها من العملة الصعبة التي تمكنها من الحصول على احتياجاتها الغذائية من جهة أخرى. في حين كان الاتحاد الأروبي في منأى عن هذه التداعيات نظرا لتمتعه بسياسات زراعية جيدة وقوية. كما تأثرت العديد من الدول الأخرى المعنية بزراعة الأرز نظرا لنقص الأسمدة التي كان مصدرها روسيا.
