Keywords: economic diversification, economic growth, Algerian economy, ARDL model | | Résumé : | دفت هذه الدراسة إلى قياس أثر التنويع الاقتصادي على النمو في الجزائر، باستخدام السلاسل الزمنية التي تغطي الفترة الممتدة بين1990-2021، وذلك لإبراز أهمية استراتيجية التنويع في تحقيق مستويات عالية للنمو الاقتصادي، وبهدف استخراج العلاقة بين التنويع والنمو الاقتصادي، تم استخدام نموذج الانحدار الذاتي للفجوات الزمنية الموزعة (ARDL) وقد أثار اختبار الحدود إلى وجود علاقة تكامل مشترك بين متغيرات الدراسة (الناتج الداخلي الخام، القيمة المضافة للزراعة، الصناعة والخدمات)، كما أشارت النتائج التجريبية إلى وجود أثر إيجابي معنوي لقطاعي الصناعة والخدمات على النمو الاقتصادي، كما تبين أنه لا يوجد أثر لقطاع الزراعة على النمو.

This study aimed to measure the impact of economic diversification on growth in Algeria, using time series covering the period between 1990-2021, in order to highlight the importance of diversification strategy in achieving high levels of economic growth, and in order to extract the relationship between diversification and economic growth, the use of The Autoregressive Distributed Time Lapses (ARDL) model, and the limits test revealed a co-integration relationship between the variables of the study (crude domestic product at current prices, the added value of the agricultural, industry and services sectors), and the experimental results indicated that there was a significant positive effect for two sectors Industry and services on economic growth, as it was found that there is a negative and significant impact of the agricultural sector on growth.
